The perfect tool to take along to saw up downed limbs is the Silky Gomboy Curve. I use the 210mm length, which sits just right on my hip whether walking or biking. Easy to open the clear plastic sheath with one hand while it's on your belt and draw the saw. The blade opens easy and quickly, locking into place with a solid click. Very pleased with my new Gomboy.
It scythes through timber like it's cardboard and leaves a perfect smooth cut. Super light weight and compact is ideal for its hiking, camping & firewood duties.
